G.O.R.E. has dropped their vocalist Ville Pokki from the line-up. There are many reasons that lead us in to this decision, but foremost we felt that Ville couldn't give the band kind of effort it deserves. We are currently searching for a new vocalist to do the vocals on the future releases as well as the important job of being the frontman on the live gigs. The official press bulletin (in finnish) about the search of a new vocalist below.

Varsinais-Suomalainen thrash metal -yhtye G.O.R.E. on erottanut laulajansa. Vokalisti Ville Pokki on pudotettu kyydistä seitsemän vuoden jälkeen ja nyt tämä ahkerasti keikkaileva orkesteri etsii uutta nokkamiestä hoitamaan vokaaliosuudet. Haku on kaikille kiinnostuneille avoin.

G.O.R.E. on tällä hetkellä keikkatauolla ja keskittyy tulevan albuminsa esituotantoon. Uudelta laulajalta edellytetään loistavan äänenkäytön lisäksi mahdollisuutta keskittyä treeneihin Varsinais-Suomen alueella sekä valmiutta ja karismaa livekeikkojen energiseen läpirunnomiseen ympäri Suomen.

Halukkailta toivotaan yhteydenoton yhteyteen jonkinlaista demoa esittelemään äänenkäytön laatua ja energiaa mutta jos moista ei löydy, voi toki ilmankin

Big update, lots of new treats for you!

We'll be playing at Uusikaupunki in a May Day -party so make sure you'll be there. That will be something special. More information at live-section.

Some brand new merchandice is now available! You can equip yourself with cool G.O.R.E. wristbands and patches in very reasonable price. Chek out the products at merch-section.

Awesome new promotional pictures are added to gallery. Pictures are shot by a great photographer and metalhead Marko Kajander. Two pictures are also available in high resolution at press gallery.

New cool live pictures from our last show in Salo are added to gallery. Pictures are shot by Petri Määttänen.

We won the unsigned band of the month -vote on Alternative Promotion's website! Thank you for everyone who voted for us!

From now on, whenever possible, we'll add our promotional posters among the live dates. We'll try to search our archives and add posters to some of the past gigs also.

Jari has signed an endorsement deal with Balbex drumsticks. So check out the drumsticks for the demanding at www.balbex.fi (in finnish) or www.balbex.cz/en (in english).

As you can see, we have new section on our site. At media -section you can find two live videos filmed at our show last December. We will add more stuff there as soon as possible, but for now, check out those videos!

Our gig in Turku 08.12 has unfortunately been canceled for reasons not depending on us. But don't worry, your x-mas is not completely fucked cause we will be playing with Profane Omen at Maksim, Salo, Finland, 22.12. That is going to be a one hell of a christmas party.

Brand new internet tv Rock-Rooster will launch tomorrow. Rock-Rooster will introduce a new worldwide TV channel, concentrating on live rock music videos by independent performers. The band has just released a new promo CD called Bitter Reality. It contains three brand new studio tracks of which one is available via this website.
